A Global Pulse of Hope During the Pandemic

Protecting Millions of Heartbeats During a Global Crisis

When the world paused, we immersed ourselves. Our pandemic journey was not just a story of survival—it evolved into a powerful testament to resilience, purpose, and the unwavering heartbeat of humanity.

Call to Action: Global Scale, Local Impact

In early 2020, when COVID-19 spread worldwide, hospitals transformed into battlegrounds and medical systems were pushed to their limits. At Techindia, we recognized that in the battle against an invisible virus, one critical sound must never be missed: the human heartbeat.

This was more than just an interruption. It was a pivotal moment. And we stood up to face it.

The Mission: Over 85+ Clients, 21 Million Human Hours

Across 85 healthcare partners globally—from large urban hospitals to distant rural clinics—our Digital health support teams across business verticals like Sleep Disorder Monitoring, eICU, Clinical cardiac monitoring, RPM and data teams united. More than 21 million human hours were spent on analyzing and interpreting Patient data, guaranteeing that no essential data points went overlooked.

Despite lockdowns confining people indoors, Techindia’s monitors never went dark. Round-the-clock, through time zones and surges, we stayed alert—reviewing, flagging, and alerting physicians in real time. Our mission was simple but sacred: every patient's data across the globe mattered.

The Pulse: 4 Billion Heartbeats Monitored Every Day

During the peak of the crisis, more than 4 billion heartbeats were assessed each day. We observed evidence of arrhythmias, heart distress, and minor post-COVID issues—conditions that were urgent, challenging to identify, and potentially fatal if overlooked.

In living rooms, bedrooms, and improvised home offices, Techindia’s remote rhythm analysts became the invisible heroes for numerous clinicians. Their instruments were screens and algorithms—yet their motivation stemmed from empathy.

Sleep Disorder: Where a 12–24 Hour TAT Was Mandatory for Inpatients

At the height of the pandemic, delivering timely healthcare insights wasn’t just a priority—it was a lifeline. One of the most critical services we provided was the rapid turnaround of sleep disorder monitoring data for patients worldwide, many of whom were recovering from COVID-19 or battling conditions like obstructive sleep apnea. These cases demanded swift, accurate diagnostics, often within a strict 12–24 hour window, especially for in-hospital patients. Despite the logistical challenges, our team implemented a well-coordinated plan combining the strength of our in-house staff and remote teams working from home. Through careful scheduling, streamlined workflows, and a shared sense of responsibility, we ensured that every report reached the right hands at the right time. This effort stands as a testament to what’s possible when resilience, innovation, and compassion come together in healthcare delivery.

People First: The Heroes Behind the Screens

Behind every Clinical data we reviewed was a human story—and every decision held life-saving potential. Senior technician Aarti recalls a 3 a.m. escalation—flagged sudden bradycardia in an elderly COVID-positive patient. Her alert led to a life-saving intervention. Stories like this echoed across our teams, powered not by shifts or checklists—but by purpose.

This was more than just clinical work—it was heartfelt.

Standing By Our Own

As the majority of the globe faced financial instability, Techindia remained steadfast. There wasn't a single technician laid off. All 750 offshore staff members received 100% of their salaries, along with additional incentives for their dedication.

We didn’t just protect the lives outside our walls—we safeguarded the families within them. Our people found stability in chaos, and their gratitude remains one of our proudest achievements.

Final Thoughts: The Heartbeat of Resilience

Techindia’s pandemic response wasn’t defined by dashboards or data alone—it was distinguished by empathy, trust, and courage.

We didn’t just monitor heartbeats—we protected them.

To our teams, our partners, and every patient we silently supported: we appreciate you. Your trust empowered us to serve when the world needed it most.

Here’s to resilience, to hope, and to every heartbeat we helped protect—together.
